The Pros And Cons Of Buying Glasses Online

Eyeglasses are an essential part of my life. If you are like me, you may want multiple pairs of glasses to match different outfits, but you are unsure how to afford them. There are many options for buying eyeglasses, such as purchasing them online or at a retail store. In this post, I’m going to talk about the pros and cons of buying eyeglasses online through ABBE Glasses.

*This post was made in collaboration with ABBE through Tomoson. The glasses were gifted to me, but all opinions are mine.*

The benefits of buying from ABBE online

Buying eyeglasses online can save both time and money. I shopped for my glasses without leaving the house, and the prices were super affordable. I love the vision center that I use, but their glasses cost well over what my insurance will cover each year. When I looked through the ABBE glasses website, most frames were under $25 a pair. You can even get a free frame to try out their service! This online glasses store offers a more extensive selection of frames and lenses than most brick-and-mortar stores do. This is helpful because you are sure to find a pair that fits your style and budget.

The disadvantages of buying eyeglasses online

For me, the biggest disadvantage of buying glasses online was that I could not try on the frames before purchasing them. I know that for some people, this is not a huge issue, but for others, it could be a deal breaker. The glasses I got are super cute, but they did end up being a bit too big for my face. I did measure carefully, but the earpieces could definitely use a slight adjustment, which is the only advantage of getting eyeglasses from the vision center that does your eye exam.

Overall, there are many benefits to buying your glasses online through ABBE. You can get several pairs to express your personal style without spending a lot of money. When you buy glasses online, you can spend as much time browsing frames as you’d like, and you don’t even have to get out of your pajamas if you don’t want to! If you are on a budget, buying glasses through ABBE glasses is the way to go. You can currently use code FREEABBE to get your first pair of frames free. There may be costs associated with the lenses and shipping. If you want low prices for glasses and don’t care that you can’t try them on, purchasing them through ABBE is a great option!

  1. Thank you for suggesting a new online glasses vendor. I’ve worn glasses since elementary school and only purchased from my eye doctor. A few years ago – a friend suggested an online retailer and I’ve switched. I love matching outfits to glasses and having fun with them. I’m excited to try out a second online vendor, now!

Eye glasses are definitely one of those things I want to actually physically be present when I’m buying. That and clothing; since the fitting might not be what you think it is when you order it. But this post did give me some things to think about though. Thanks for sharing!
