Toddlers and preschoolers will love making this simple heart tree. This craft allows kids to make a colorful Valentine’s Day tree while leaving plenty of room to let their creativity shine! It is simple enough for young children, but kids who are older will also have fun.

Materials Used
White Paper
Construction Paper
Glue
Scissors
A Colored Pencil

To start, I drew hearts in a variety of sizes for my daughter to cut out.


While she was cutting, I drew the outline of a tree. After that, I had her color it. If your child is old enough, they can do the drawing.

To finish, I gave her a glue stick and told her to glue the hearts onto the tree however she wanted.


The end result was an adorable little paper Valentine’s Day tree. This took us about 20 minutes to do and we had so much fun!
