Easter is less than a month away. We had originally written this post last year, but since most Easter events are canceled this year, we thought we’d come back and do this art project again! We have not decorated real eggs yet this year at our house, but yesterday, we painted a paper egg.

- White Paper (We used paper from a big roll of white craft paper)
- Paint (We used three colors)
- Cotton Swabs
I started by cutting out an egg shape. If your little one is able to use scissors, you can draw the shape and let them do the cutting. After that, I gave my toddler the paint and let her use the cotton swabs to paint her egg however she wanted.
The cotton swab painting is so much fun for toddlers!
Little ones often enjoy when a book is paired with a craft or activity. Here are some suggestions!
